47 Foxon Street

  • On January 25, 2025, Raise the Roof experienced a Saturday morning of excitement, joy, and fun celebrating the build kickoff for 47 Foxon Street, New Haven! Our Shoreline community of volunteers are working alongside future homeowners Redouane and Khadija to build the house that their family, including daughter Razan and son Rayan, will call home. Kickoff day’s extreme cold weather brought the celebration indoors to Habitat for Humanity of Greater New Haven’s offices so that fingers and toes could feel as warm as our hearts. So much excitement along with joyful dance moves and then percussion of hammers at work as members of the Daniel Hand High School Habitat Club gave their Saturday to build following the celebration. A day that felt perfect…

  • Build with us, and join us working alongside Redouane and Khadija. Your help will make a beautiful difference. And scroll through the photos below… the story of a community that believes in the power of helping one another.
